Class 2A

We are finding it difficult to believe that November is already here, but with its arrival we are reminded of our many blessings which include your children.  We are thankful for their energy and excitement, their innocence and honesty, their imagination and creativity, ther humor and warmth, and their playful and willing spirits!

With the celebration of Thanksgiving, we will be learning about what it means to give thanks, and we will have our own feast dressing up as pilgrims and Native Americns.  The children have already learned this song as our snack time prayer, and you may want to sing it at home:

                                       For our food, for our food

                                       And all our many blessings, all our many blessings

                                       Amen, Amen.

We will be talking about transportation this month as we pretend to be airplanes, cars, and choo choo trains during our music and movement.  We will focus on the color brown and the triangle shape.  We will also learn about peace and how getting along with others is another fruit of the Spirit.

Thank you for the wonderful support you give your children and the toddler class.  We are most grateful!  May you experience His peace this Thanksgiving season.
