Class 4A
WELCOME BACK! I hope everyone had a healthy and happy holiday! My family has been so busy I'm not quite sure where the vacation days went. My girls have been playing so many hockey and soccer games during the break that they weren't ready to go back to school. They would rather just play games.
We are going to start right away reviewing the letters and numbers that we have already learned, and will be learning more. I will be testing this month as well and so more information will be sent home later about conference times. A sign up sheet will be out, and we will not be having school that day, but Miss Cathy will be there to play with the kids while we have our conference. Each conference will only last about 15-20 minutes.
As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, January 18 and always remember to check for Solanco delays. If they are delayed at all, we are closed. Also mark your calendar for a field trip to Kitchen Kettle Village on Wednesday, February 3. More information will come out very soon.
This month we are also going to learn the Bible story of Jonah, so the memory verse this month is, :Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah wa sin the belly of the fish three days and three nights." Jonah 1:17.
I wanted to thank everyone for the great gifts! The class did such a wonderful job on the play. I was so proud of them. They worked very hard in such a short time of learning their lines, but they did it so I hope you enjoyed it!
