Class 4B

Welcome back!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.  Can you believe we're starting a new year?  this school year seems to be going by quickly.  January will be a quiet, no so busy month for our class.  We will start slowly back into our routine.  With the past couple weeks off and lots of excitement I'm sure it will take a couple days to get back on track.  We will spend time reviewing letters, shapes and numbers.  Our new letters for this month will be M,N,O, and P.  We will introduce a new letter each week as long as mother nature allows us to do that!  If we start seeing the "white stuff" falling and we start to miss days we'll just push back some of our letters.  This month I will start testing your children individually.  We will send home more information in the future in regards to parent-teacher conferences that will take place in February.  This is when we'll go over what your child was tested on and how they did.  PLEASE don't stress over this!  I want the kids to feel comfortable when their day comes to test.  If they are struggling in any areas, we'll continue to work on this until the end of the year.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask.
