Class 4D

Welcome back!  I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year.  I sure did!  It was nice to have so much time at thome with family and friends.  I also hope the kids enjoyed their last day of 2009 at school.  Miss Patti and I had fun at our Christmas party and we both thank everyone for their generosity with the party treats and all of the lovely Christmas gifts and cards.

This month we will do our best to get back into the swing of things!  We will continue learning our letters after doing a review of the ones we've already been over.  We will be doing recognition and matching with numbers and letters.  Also, exploring different concepts such as large and small, more or less, etc. and working on our motor skills.  We will also be working more on writing our names.  Please work with yoru child at home with writing their names, too.

Tuesday, January 26th, we will be having a "Hat Day."  The kids are asked to wear one of their favorite hats that day.  This will also be a part of our Show and Tell.

Library will resume this Thursday, January 7th.

Show and Tell will resume next Tuesday, January 12th.  Our schedule will be as follows: Jan 12 - favorite Christmas gift, Jan 19 - Something that starts with "F" or "G", Jan 26 - favorite hat.
